Version 1: Pull-Apart Maple Pecan Sticky Buns



1 ½ c chopped pecans

4 T butter, melted

2/3 c maple syrup (the real stuff)

½ c sugar

1 t ground cinnamon

6 T butter, melted

2 12-oz cans flaky buttermilk biscuits

1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, cut into 20 cubes.
